Among the alternative electoral systems being discussed in Thailand is a German style Mixed Member Proportional system (MMP). MMP is similar to Thailand's previous electoral system, but instead of the party list seats being simply added to the a party's seat total, the party list vote would be used to determine the total number seats each party receives.
